Do you listen to your customers? Your clients? Your audience?
You probably think you do, but if you’re the “expert” then chances are you are not. You know your business, you know your industry, but unless you listen, you don’t know your customer or your client.
The data will only tell you so much. Data tells you what, it doesn’t tell you why. If you only know what, you will always remain behind the ball, reacting to your customers, after the fact.
That makes you a follower. Not a leader. Not an expert.
